The COPUOS Statements Navigator makes the statements delivered at sessions of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space easier to explore: key messages by theme, agenda item and delegation, each linked to the text it comes from.
Independent project. This site is a personal, non-commercial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official publication of the United Nations, the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) or the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS). It does not use the United Nations emblem. The official records of the Committee are published on unoosa.org.
No copies of the PDFs are hosted here. Each statement links to its original file on unoosa.org. Meeting recordings are linked on UN Web TV, not copied or embedded.
The text shown for each statement was extracted from the published PDFs. Scanned pages and Arabic texts were read with optical character recognition, so a few words may differ from the original.
Fonts: IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono and Source Serif 4, used under the SIL Open Font License and served from this site.
How the content is produced
Key messages, theme tags, cross-statement syntheses, English translations of statements in other languages, and the answers in “Ask about the statements” are generated with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Each key message cites the paragraphs it rests on and a short verbatim quote, so it can be checked against the statement.
AI output can be wrong or incomplete. The summaries and translations are not official UN translations, summaries or interpretations, and they do not represent the views of any delegation or of the United Nations.
Always check the original statement before quoting or relying on a point. The original PDF is linked on every statement.
Where UNOOSA's listing linked the wrong file to a speaker or agenda item, the statement carries a note explaining the correction.

Questions you ask. When you use “Ask about the statements”, your question and the matching key messages are sent to Anthropic's API to write the answer. Anthropic processes this data under its own terms; see Anthropic's privacy policy.
